Elizabeth Stockton is an Atlanta native who specializes in contemporary oil paintings. Her interests include typography, handwriting, color interaction, and the horizon line. Her work is strongly influenced by the abstract expressionist painters of the New York School including Joan Mitchell, Robert Motherwell, Mark Rothko, and Franz Kline, just to name a few.
